Academic Recovering in Hospital
AUG 25, 2015 – Mark Moogalian, an academic at the University of Paris originally from Midlothian, Virginia, has been revealed as the 4th person that thwarted the attack on the high speed rail in France. Moogalian was actually the first person to engage the suspect, and was seriously injured with a slash to the neck and is recovering in a French hospital, and will also be toasted by French President Hollande with a medal and thanks when he is released. Spencer Stone, one of the other heroes involved in the tackling of the suspect, staunched Moogalian’s bleeding and is credited with saving his life, even though Stone was injured himself.
Mark Moogalian and his wife Isabelle are both very accomplished musicians and have a band together called Secret Season, and have released their third album in 2014 called “The Answer”.
