Pro-Union Boston band wants union-busting thug Scott Walker to stop playing “I’m Shipping Up to Boston”

JAN 26, 2015 – The pro-union band from bean town, Dropkick Murphys, found out that the Governor Scott Walker was playing their version of the Woody Guthrie song, “I’m Shipping up to Boston” at his rallies, and naturally got pissed and took to the Twitterverse to express their feelings on the matter. In a Tweet the band said, “Scott Walker, Please stop using our music in any way…we literally hate you.”

JTMP posted a music video video of Dropkick Murphys playing “Don’t Tear Us Apart” and “Jimmy Collins Wake” at the “Boston Strong” benefit concert last year for the Boston Marathon bombing victims with over 13,000 views! Watch it on our JTMP YouTube Channel HERE. Check out their version of “I’m Shipping up to Boston” below, and support the working man, support unions! Register to vote right on this website (see righthand column) and make sure you vote for strong union-supporting candidates, not union-busting thugs like Walker who attack the working class.
