AUG 20, 2014 – Many musicians have come out in support for justice for Michael Brown using their music and social media. In St. Louis last Wednesday, Young Jeezy and Wiz Khalifa wore shirts on stage that said, “Don’t shoot” and “RIP Michael Brown”. Nelly has been very vocal about the events in Ferguson on TMZ, and has set up a scholarship to honor the slain teen. One of the biggest musical-activists in Ferguson right now is Talib Kweli who is savagely criticizing the police and their actions. Check out Talib’s Twitter account here for “on the ground updates” from Ferguson, Missouri here.  (photo credit: Tuomos Vitikainen/CC)
