joan baez 1 newstimes: joan baez inspired by occupy movementNOV 9, 2011 – In a recent interview with NewsTimes, musician activist Joan Baez said she and her crew who are in Connecticut for a show were inspired by the Occupy movement adding, "I've been thinking about what is a good song to start with, But I'm not sure what that song will be." She also said she wants to visit Occupy Wall Street at Zuccotti Park but added, "I don't want to go in toting my guitar. This has a very different tone. I am going to want to talk to the people."
