NOV 23, 2014 – Musical-activist Willie Nelson, known for his cannabis use as much as Cheech and Chong, said in a Yahoo Music interview that President Barack Obama is probably happy to see that DC has recently voted to legalize cannabis. He also didn’t deny he once smoked a joint on the White House roof. When asked if people in DC will get along better now, Willie said,”“I really think stress is the cause of a lot of our problems, and I believe the best medicine for stress is pot,” he said, smiling. “Yeah, I think it would make us get along better — all over the world.”  (photo credits: Paul Familetti/Larry Philpot/CC)
