Perry Tells Ms. Clinton “I Will Write Your Theme Song!”
June 23, 2014 – Katy Perry, who backed President Barack Obama in his past elections and is active on equality issues, is now throwing her support to Hillary Clinton in her hopes she will be a candidate in the 2016 Democratic Presidential primary elections. She Tweeted (and on Instagram) a photo of her and Ms. Clinton with the caption, “I told Hillary Clinton that I would write her a “theme” song if she needs it…” Many are wondering if Katy would write a whole new song exclusively about Hillary Clinton, or lend her song “Roar” to the campaign.
