APR 12, 2013 – JTMP blogged last week about the petition drive calling for Reebok to drop rapper Rick Ross as a spokesperson after rapping about slipping a drug into a woman's drink and raping her; "Put molly [a drug] all in her champagne, she ain’t even know it / I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain’t even know it". Ultra Violet led the charge calling for Reebok to drop Ross as a spokesperson, started an online petition and got a tremendous response. In fact, Reebok has responded to the pressure and has dropped the endorsement deal they had with Rick Ross. This shows the power of grassroots online activism, and JTMP supports Reebok's decision and says "alright!" to all the grassroots supporters that took part in this action.

From the WeAreUltraViolet.org website:"After 100,000 UltraViolet members and our allies spoke out, Reebok ended their endorsement deal with Rick Ross, the rapper who brags about raping a woman in his recent single. In fact they issued a strong statement, noting, "We are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse."

When a company does the right thing, it's important that we thank them. Can you sign the card to Reebok? Please THANK Reebok over at WeAreUltraViolet.org here.
