NY Times: Global Citizen Festival a Success

Festival gathered and motivated music fans for social change

Sep 28, 2015 – NY Times is out with a review on Global Citizen’s Festival this weekend in New York, lauding Beyonce’s performance, the collaboration between the various musicians, and the good response from fans on “taking action” on extreme poverty such as signing online petition or Tweeting about a cause┬áthat Global Citizen flashed on the screen. I watched Ed Sheeran’s performance which was pretty good. The article mentions Pearl Jam doing Bob Marley’s “Redemption Song” with Beyonce, and I found that clip which is below.
