DEC 11, 2-14 – One of JTMP’s favorite activist-musicians, Willie Nelson, gave an interview to AARP.org recently, and he spoke out on genetically modified Frankenfood, positive thinking, and medical cannabis. On the GMO food-like products that the chemical-food factories are spewing out, he suggests using local farmer’s markets, or better yet grow your own if you can. Speaking on positive thinking, he said that negative thoughts are like poison that can cause diseases in your body, and he credits positive thinking, exercise, and daily cannabis use for his longevity. On medical cannabis use he tells AARP, “Ill probably take a couple of hits before or after the show tonight. It relaxes me, and the medicinal form of pot can cure everything from stress to cancer.”  (Photo credits: Bob Jagendorf/O’Dea/CC)
