OCT 13, 2012 - Activist musician Miley Cyrus, has come out in support (well, we kind of knew it anyway) of President Barack Obama. She Tweeted a pic of herself with an Obama t-shirt. She is also involved with "Rock The Vote" and has urged her fans and everyone to register to vote and vote, and we totally agree! Many states have their registration still open, and some places like here in DC you can register on voting day. Make sure you VOTE!
OCT 13, 2012 - Activist musician Bruce Springsteen, known for his support of unions and the working man (or woman!), will be campaigning for President Barack Obama in Ohio where unemployment has plummeted due to President Barack Obama's bailout of the auto industry and stimulus funds helping middle class working folks out. He will surely be singing his working class anthem, "We Take Care of Our Own" which Obama uses at his rallies. Read more on NBC News.com here.
SEP 25, 2012 - Eddie Vedder played at an Obama fundraiser last week, and here are 2 clips. The first is from CorrineClement on YouTube of Eddie introducing the President, and then there is a performance of "Without You" on a ukulele from BackInTheRain. In the text of the Intro video it says:
"Eddie Vedder introduced President Barack Obama during a fundraiser at the home of Lisa DeBartolo and Don Miggs in Tampa, Florida, on Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012. Vedder spoke about his start as a security officer in San Diego, prior to forming the band Pearl Jam, where a government program gave him opportunities he otherwise wouldn't have had.

AUG 12, 2012 - Last week at the DNC Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, musical activist James Taylor performed live on stage in support of President Obama and even said to the crowd, "I don't get it. I'm an old white guy, and I love Barack Obama!" and the crowd erupted into cheers. Watch some video clips below of James from the DNC Convention below, from his remarks, to his performance.
JUNE 5, 2012 - Jon Bon Jovi attended a fundraiser for President Obama, riding on Air Force One with the President, and then playing a short acoustic set for the energetic crowd. Jon Bon Jovi has been a strong supporter of Obama since 2007, raising money for him for his last campaign and even hosting a dinner at his house, and he played at President Obama's inauguration in 2008. A small segment of the performance has been posted by victoriabernal on YouTube, but the clip cuts off for she was concerned about copyright infringement.
