Lays Single White Rose Prior to Climate Change Summit
NOV 30, 2015 – President Obama is in France for the 2015 climate change summit, and took time out to visit the site of the biggest tragedy, laying a single white rose with French President Hollande and his wife paying respects to the victims. President Obama wants to leave a good legacy when it comes to climate change as he leaves office, so he has high hopes the nations can come together and agree to move away from fossil fuels and embrace clean, renewable energy. Many young people in France who believe leaders are not moving fast enough disregarded the state of emergency rules of not gathering, and the police moved in with tear gas and made over 170 arrests.
