Actor-activist Challenges Celebrities to Protest Killings by Police

DEC 15, 2014 – In response to the outrage of young men being killed by police and no charges are ever filed, actor-activist Samuel L. Jackson has issued a challenge to celebrities to sing his “I Can’t Breathe” song, with lyrics like this:

“I can hear my neighbor cryin’ ‘I can’t breathe’
Now I’m in the struggle and I can’t leave
Calling out the violence of the racist police
We ain’t gonna stop ’til people are free
We ain’t gonna stop ’til people are free”
