JAN 12, 2012 - (Sort of...)

A group of activist musicians and Occupy activists held a 24 hour music-filled demonstration in the theater district in New York, organized by the Occupy Wall Street Performance Guild in a non-violent reclaiming public space action. It drew well-known names from the downtown New York scene and also from other theater scenes. "With capitalism gone mad, foreclosures increasing, and bank crises consuming whole communities, we are signaling through the flames that there is another way of living." DEC 2, 2011 - JTMP posted earlier about "Occupy This Album", and one of the activist musicians that is taking part in it is Jackson Browne, and he was on Countdown with Keith Olbermann on December 1st and discussed the project with Keith. The video is below.

NOV 9, 2011 - Activist musicians David Crosby, who visited Zuccotti Park recently, and Graham Nash discuss what they think about Occupy Wall Street and the movement on Countdown with Keith Olbermann and perform an original song a cappella.
