JTMP Re-Releases Op-Critical’s “Fear Not” Video In 1080p HD

August 7, 2013 – JTMP is excited to announce we are re-releasing Op-Critical's "Fear Not" video in HD, a powerful video and song that is a scathing condemnation of the George W. Bush administration, and how they used propaganda in duping the nation into launching the unnecessary and foolish Iraq invasion and war. The video was directed and produced by filmmaker Dmitry Torgovitsky in 2008, before YouTube had an "HD" feature. So to remind everyone of the debacle of the Iraq War and how we must be vigilant against government propaganda starting foolish wars, we have re-released the video on our JTMP YouTube Channel in full 1080p HD and audio. Watch the video below, and leave a comment about it on our JTMP Facebook Page, and please give us a ""Like"! Thanks!

Ai Weiwei strongly criticizes China’s government in new “Dumbass” video

MAY 23, 2013 – Chinese musical-activist Ai Weiwei has released his new music video to his activist song "Dumbass" and strongly criticizes the Chinese government. In the video, Ai is jailed, hooded and is abused by the Chinese state power for speaking out politically similar to when he was jailed for 81 days for speaking out politically back in 2011. Naturally, China has blocked the video. The video is filled with heavy metal screeching guitars and obscenity screaming against the oppression in China that censors and punishes free speech. In a statement Ai Weiwei said, “People who are detained suffer traumas, and those who detain us know this very well. This is why we are secretly detained, blindfolded, cuffed, not allowed to meet with lawyers and relatives. I had been thinking about how to recover from the trauma. And I came up with the idea of using music to convey a sentiment that is tremendously secret, and private, to the public." Watch the video below.

Earth Day 2012 on the National Mall Music Videos on JTMP Green!

APR 25, 2012 – Musician activists performed at Earth Day 2012 on the National Mall here in DC last Sunday to promote a green and sustainable lifestyle. The Chad Hollister Band was there and had DC legend tenor sax player Ron Holloway blowin' sax for them. Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dave Mason brought his guitar and great songs, along with Cheap Trick who played a few of their classics for the sparse but dedicated activists who braved the rain calling for better treatment of Mother Earth. JTMP asks our supporters to try and "Mobilize The Earth" and do one green act today. One can switch out and incandescent light bulb with an LED or a CFL, we can walk to the store today and bring a cloth bag. We all can do small things to try and be as green as possible.

Anonymous Hacktivists Release Song and Music Video – LYRICIST JINN – #OpCensorThis

Hacktivists Anonymous and TeaMp0isoN have released a song and video they hope will impact the music charts and bring attention to Occupy Wall Street and the overall "Anonymous movement". This  digital activist project, a collaboration between TeaMp0isoN and lyricist Jinn, will donate the proceeds to the East Africa Crisis Appeal. A video was released on YouTube (watch below) and the song on iTunes.

"Remember to like & favourite the video, so it can be featured in the music section on youtube," TeaMp0isoN encouraged its Twitter followers. "Once this hits the charts, radio stations will by law have to play it," the project's manifesto stated. "If they censor the song we will attack the music industry and censor them instead."

Their Manifesto also reads:

"Long have activists and revolutionaries turned to a song to get their message out. Anonymous and TeaMp0isoN have collaborated together to continue this tradition. We are going to take youtube and iTunes by storm and flood the song into the world around us, with proceeds going to charities that are actively striving to change it. Once this hits the charts, radio stations will by law, have to play it. Will they thwart the law to continue making sheep out of the people?

If they censor the song we will attack the music industry and censor them instead."
