ACTIVIST MUSICIANS HOPE TO GET PAUL MCCARTNEY ON ALBUM

JUNE 6, 2014 – Activist musicians fighting against fracking are putting together songs for an album to be released later this year titled, “Buy This Fracking Album”. Some of the activist musicians involved is the late Pete Seeger (did he have a song recorded before his passing?) along with Anti-Flag, Rootz Underground, Rusted Root, Marco Benevento, Bonnie Raitt, Josh Fox and many other activist bands and musicians; and there is talk on their Facebook site of their hopes of getting Sir Paul McCartney to join the album. The album wants to really help out with the Marcellus Protest, and they took submissions from musicians and artists that many may have not have heard of yet. The album should be out very soon, so check back with JTMP as we will definitely post about it when it hits the streets. If you want to read more about it check out a press release about it on PRWeb.com here, and check out MovementMusicRecords.com here. Also check out their Facebook Page here.
