Hank Williams Jr. doubles down on extremist rhetoric against the President
AUG 4, 2012 - Hank Williams Jr. is doubling down on his extremist rhetoric. Performing at the Stockyards Music Festival he said President Obama "is a Muslim, hates the military, hates America, hates cowgirls, hates cowboys, hates fishing, loves gays, and we hate him!"

Prince to host Rebuild the Dream Event with Van Jones in Chicago
AUG 4, 2012 - Prince is teaming up with Van Jones and Rebuild the Dream to host the "Welcome 2 Chicago" event at one of his upcoming shows. Prince and Van will register and mobilize voters to work for policies that help the middle class. Entrepreneurs, Tech Start-Ups and other people will also be there to teach people how to rebuild our communities. In a statement Van Jones said, “We couldn’t be more excited about partnering with a legend like Prince. Our economic system is broken. Rebuild the Dream exists to unite arts and organize into a potent force to support the Dreams of Our Communities. Sean Lennon and Yoko Ono form Artists Against Fracking
AUG 4, 2012 - JTMP has been fighting hard against Fracking using music and video, and even hosting "Tour De Frack" in DC this summer, but we have also learned that Sean Lennon and Yoko Ono have teamed up to fight against Fracking in their home state of New York, by forming the organization Artists Against Fracking, and have united musicians together against this destructive practice ranging from David Crosby to Wilco. After Pussy Riot Verdict, Madonna Tells Fans to Appreciate Freedom
SEP 4, 2012 - JTMP has been very disappointed by the unjust and Draconian verdict the Russian courts handed down against Pussy Riot, but we will be fighting on their behalf to get the word out about their plight, and lobby for their freedom in any way we can. Check back frequently for news on that.
