occupy musicians occupy musicians website started

DEC 1, 2011 – A website has been created for activist musicians can show their support for the Occupy Movement, and to also be a gathering place for them to coordinate and organize themselves for Occupy related events and is a place where Occupy related sounds and music are posted. Check out the website for links to great songs and sounds from Occupy activist musicians and artists. JTMP plans to collaborate and work with Occupy Musicians so check back to both sites regularly.

On the website it says, "We, the undersigned musicians and all who will join us, support Occupy Wall Street and the Occupy Movement around the world.", and is already a huge list of musicians. They use the term "musician" broadly, and encourage musicians, sound engineers, sound artists, producers, DJs, producers, instrumentalists, composers, lyricists, etc. to all send them an email with your name, instruments, musical affiliations, and location to Occupy Musicians at Gmail.com.

Check out their website here.
