JTMP Re-Releases Op-Critical’s “Fear Not” Video In 1080p HD

August 7, 2013 – JTMP is excited to announce we are re-releasing Op-Critical's "Fear Not" video in HD, a powerful video and song that is a scathing condemnation of the George W. Bush administration, and how they used propaganda in duping the nation into launching the unnecessary and foolish Iraq invasion and war. The video was directed and produced by filmmaker Dmitry Torgovitsky in 2008, before YouTube had an "HD" feature. So to remind everyone of the debacle of the Iraq War and how we must be vigilant against government propaganda starting foolish wars, we have re-released the video on our JTMP YouTube Channel in full 1080p HD and audio. Watch the video below, and leave a comment about it on our JTMP Facebook Page, and please give us a ""Like"! Thanks!

Naomi Wolf slams Katy Perry’s “Part of Me” music video as recruitment propaganda

APR 19, 2012 – Writer Naomi Wolf, who started  a controversy commenting on Katy Perry's "Part of Me" music video, continues to call the video "war propaganda", and wrote an Op Ed on ReaderSupportedNews.org saying:

“The whole videography of the scenes at Camp Pendleton – in which Perry crawls through an imaginary minefield, trains underwater, learns she can do the impossible, etc – is straight out of Leni Riefenstahl: the same angled, heroizing upward shots, the same fetishization of physical power, of gleaming armaments, and of the rigor and mechanism of human beings cohering into living militarized units. There is something else about the video: it feels … like an ad; specifically, a focus-grouped, consumer-tested ad to attract more women to join the Marines.”
