Rocker Joe Walsh Supports Soldier Tammy Duckworth Over Politician Joe Walsh

July 5, 2012 – Rocker Joe Walsh has come out in support of Iraq War veteran Tammy Duckworth, and against the politician Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill) in the upcoming fall election. The rocker who rocked us out with the James Gang and also solo with songs like "Walk Away", came out and said "I'm the real Joe Walsh and I'm proud to back a real American success story, Tammy Duckworth" The rocker Joe Walsh had to send a cease and desist letter to the politician Joe Walsh's campaign in 2010 when they changed the words to his song "Walk Away" saying, “You’re not allowed to take someone’s song and change the lyrics. This is not to say you’re not allowed to write silly lyrics, you just have to write them to your own music. Now, I know why you used Joe’s music — it’s undoubtedly because it’s a lot better than any music you or your staff could have written. But that’s the point. Since Joe writes better songs than you do, the Copyright Act rewards him by letting him decide who gets to use the songs he writes.”

“Analog Man” Joe Walsh Rails Against Digital Age and Longs for Vinyl Records

MAR 21 – Guitarist Joe Walsh from the James Gang and Eagles fame has put out a new solo track, his first one in 20 years. The new song "Analog Man" wonders if in this digital age we might be disconnected from one another, and asks is it all real? Joe also longs for the day of reel-to-reel analog tape and vinyl records, and worries that we might have become slaves to our electronic appliances, and wonders if our new HiDef TVs with fiber optic cable are raising our kids. The album, titled "Analog Man' will be out June 5, listen to the track and read a review over at UltimateClassicRock.com.   (photo credit Alexander Visual/Flickr)
