Musician Activist Jeff Murson sings about the housing market

MAY 8, 2012 – Activist musician Jeff Murson from Champion, Ohio sent us a song he wrote back in 2008 about the housing market, and how he feels the 1% and the George W. Bush administration screwed millions of people out of their homes. He says about the song, "Give out 300 thousand dollar adjustable rate loans to kids making 7 dollars an hour at McDonalds knowing they can't pay it back. We'll get years of payments until it adjusts and then foreclose on their homes…LOL. Meanwhile, Bush's good ol' boys club turn their heads the other way *WINK -WINK; NOD-NOD; LOL*  In summation – THE AMERICAN DREAM WAS DESTROYED BY GEORGE W BUSH AND HIS RICH BUDDIES ON WALL STREET!"  Watch the video below.

Sugarland Plays Free Tribute Concert For Indiana State Fair Stage Collapse Victims

Sugarland, the country duo of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush, played to a packed house  in an energized and emotional tribute concert to the 7 victims killed in the stage collapse last August just before they were supposed to go on. Jennifer told the crowd, “Obviously we are here in October — we were supposed to do this show in August. Obviously, the stage is different, you are different and we are different. We are all changed by what happened then,” she said. “But we are going to try to give you the best show that we can and to celebrate healing with you and to celebrate life and music with you here tonight.”

Concert goers were asked to donate to the Indiana State Fair Victims Fund, which has already raised nearly $1 million dollars.
