VH1 Save The Music Aims to Restore Musical Education in Public Schools

With all the recent attacks on music in public education, JTMP wants to let people know of the great work being done over at VH1 Save The Music, where they are "dedicated to restoring instrumental music education in America's public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child's complete education. To date, the Foundation has provided more than $47 million in new musical instruments to 1,750 public schools in more than 100 cities around the country, impacting the lives of over 1.6 million children."

One of their success stories is Jenny Lind Elementary School is a public school in the Minneapolis Public School District in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They received a grant, and were able to add 36 quality string instruments for their students to use.
